GURGAON: A 35-year-old businessman committed suicide here after accusing his wife and her parents of harassing him, police said on Tuesday. Six people from his wife's family were charged with abetment to suicide.

Amit Garg, a resident of Mandi Govindgarh in Punjab's Fatehgarh Sahib district, took poison and died here on Monday.

The coal businessman, who got married in February this year, had come to Gurgaon to meet his maternal uncle.

"Amit consumed poison at his uncle's house in Kendriya Vihar. He was rushed to a hospital and died during treatment," police official Pradeep Singh told IANS.

"The deceased left a suicide note blaming his wife and her parents for his extreme step," Singh said.

HC notice on Pascal’s plea for visitation rights to his mother to see his children

The Karnataka High Court on Tuesday ordered issue of notice to Suja Jones Mazurier on a petition filed by her husband Pascal Mazurier, Consular Attaché to the Consulate General of France, Bangalore, and accused in a case of raping his minor daughter.

Justice A.S. Bopanna passed the order on Mr. Pascal’s petition, in which he has challenged the Family Court’s order refusing to allow his mother, who had come from France, to periodically meet his three children, who are in the custody of his wife.

IN the petition he also said his wife had violated an order of the Family Court to bring the children to the Bangalore Mediation Centre between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. on July 24 to for meeting his mother, and children’s grandmother, Jacqueline Maillé. The Family Court had only twice permitted Jacqueline Maillé to meet the children since February 2013 and that too only for an hour on each occasion.

“The Family Court ought to have permitted the petitioner’s [Pascal’s] mother to have constant periodical contact with her grandchildren so that some member of the petitioner’s family can be in touch with the children,” it has been contended in the petition.

In matters relating to the guardianship and custody of minor children, especially of those children who have multi-cultural and multi-national identities, the Family Court ought to bear in mind the various provisions of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) which came into force in September 1990 and to which India is a signatory, the petitioner claimed.

The petition further stated: “The children are completely cut off from their paternal relations and this is not in the interest of their emotional and psychological welfare and wellbeing as the petitioner was always close to the children during the time he lived in the marital home…” It has been alleged in the petition that his wife was depriving the children of contact with his family members.

Mr.Mazurier was arrested in June 2012 on the complaint filed by his wife, and the High Court in October 2012 had granted him bail while observing that “the materials on record, including the DNA report, and the statements of witnesses at this stage are in favour of the accused [Pascal]”.

पुरुषहो, तुमच्यासाठी...

पुरुष म्हणजे कुटुंबाची भिंत... त्याच्याशिवाय चांगल्या समाजाची कल्पनाच करवत नाही. असा हा पुरुष आज अडचणीत आहे. काही मोजक्या पुरुषांच्या एखाद्या कृत्याचे खापर अख्ख्या पुरुषजातीवर फोडले जाते. खरेतर, त्याच्यावरच अनेकदा अन्याय होतो. खोट्या गुन्ह्यांमध्ये तोच टार्गेट होतो. त्याचे ना कुणी ऐकत ना त्याच्या मदतीला जात. पुरुषांच्या याच अंतरंगाचा वेध घेण्यासाठी पहिल्यांदाच सेव्ह इंडियन फॅमिली फाउंडेशनतर्फे (सिफ) नागपूर विभागात पुरुष परिषद घेण्यात आली. पुरुषांच्या विविध समस्यांचा उहापोह येथे झाला. फाउंडेशनतर्फे पेंच येथे हे ५ वे पुरुष हक्क राष्ट्रीय अधिवेशन झाले. संपूर्ण भारतामधून ४० हजार कार्यकर्त्यांचे प्रतिनिधित्व करणारे शेकडो मेन्स राइट्स कार्यकर्ते या अधिवेशनासाठी जमले होते.

...तर स्वातंत्र्यदिन मानणार नाही

सरकारकडून पुरुषाला हीन वागणूक मिळते. त्याच्या भावना कधीच जाणून घेतल्या जात नाहीत. केवळ महिलांच्याच वाट्याला सहानुभूती येते. सरकार, न्यायालय केवळ महिलांचीच बाजू ऐकते. पुरुषाला तर बोलण्याचा अधिकारच नाही. चहूबाजूंनी पुरुषांची मुस्कटदाबी होते. अनेकदा महिलांकडून त्यांच्या बाजूने असलेल्या कायद्यांचा गैरवापर केला जातो. केवळ वचपा म्हणून तर कधी काही स्वार्थ साधण्यासाठी पुरुषांवर खोटे गुन्हे दाखल करण्यात येतात. मग पुरुष स्वतंत्र कसा, असा सवाल अधिवेशनात उपस्थित करण्यात आला. सरकारने पुरुषांच्या बाजूने विचार न केल्यास स्वातंत्र्यदिन साजरा का करायचा, असा सवालही उपस्थित करण्यात आला.

संशोधनाची गरज

सध्या पुरुषांसाठी भारतामध्ये पुरुष हक्क, पुरुषांच्या मानसिक व शारीरिक समस्या या विषयावर कुठेही कसलाही संशोधन किंवा शैक्षणिक आभ्यासक्रम अस्तित्वात नाही. असशा संशोधन किंवा शैक्षणिक अभ्यासक्रमाची नितांत गरज असल्याचे मत ' सिफ ' ने अधिवेशनात मांडले. अशा अभ्यासक्रमामुळे पुरुषत्वाची जाणीव लोकांपर्यंत पोहाचेल ज्यामुळे समाजात पुरुषांला चांगले जीवन जगता येईल, व चांगला समाज घडेल, असे मत व्यक्त करण्यात आले.

हाच खरा भेदाभेद

समाजातील गुन्हे आणि समस्यांसाठी केवळ पुरुषांनाच जबाबदार व गृहित धरण्यात येते. अनेक घटनांत तर महिलांनी पुरुषांपेक्षा कितीतरी गंभीर गुन्हे केले आहेत. ते कधीच प्रकाशात येत नाहीत. इथे मग ' समानता ' कुठे गेली? जर समाज पुरुषाला मानसन्मान देऊ शकत नसेल, तर त्या समाजाने पुरुषांकडून कुठलीच अपेक्षा करून नये. त्याला शिक्षा करण्याचा किंवा त्याला दोष देण्याचाही अधिकार नाही, असे स्पष्ट मत ' सिफ ' चे मध्य भारत अध्यक्ष राजेश वखारिया व अन्य मान्यवरांनी व्यक्त केले. अधिवेशनादरम्यान ३० सत्रांत पुरुषांच्या विविध समस्यांवर विचारमंथन झाले.

असे हे ठराव

- पुरुषाला शांततामय जीवन जगण्याचा अधिकार आहे.
- पुरुषाला कायदेशीर रूपात निःपक्ष व समान अधिकार मिळावेत, जे लिंगभेदरहित असावेत.
- प्रोस्टेट कॅन्सर, पार्किन्सन्स, हृदयविकार आदी आजारांपासून त्यांना रोखण्याकरिता पुरेशी आर्थिक गुंतवणूक करण्याची गरज आहे.
- पुरुषांबद्दलचे पूर्वग्रह दूर व्हावेत. त्यासाठी पुरुष कल्याण मंत्रालयाची स्थापना करण्यात यावी.
- फादर्स राइट्सचे रक्षण करून शेअर पॅरेंटिंगला मान्यता देण्यात यावी.
- संसदेसमोर येऊ घातलेला हिंदू विवाह संशोधन कायदा संमत न करता खारिज करावा.

It’s a male’s day altogether…or the Husband’s Independence Day to be more precise. While the people across the nation might have celebrated Independence Day on Thursday in solidarity with the traditional practice, a handful group of men acted otherwise. Feeling leftover in the series of issues pertaining to individual rights, husbands have moved a step forward in affirming their self in their own right and marked Friday as their day of ‘Independence’. The city of Nagpur would be a part of the one of its kind revolution which is running into its fifth year.
5^th National Men’s Rights Conference 2013, an event jointly conducted by a group of organizations fighting for equal rights to men in Hindu marriages would be held Friday at
Pench Jungle Home Resort near Nagpur.
Arnab Ganguly, a member of one of the participating organization called INSAAF told Nagpur Today, “We have found Nagpur as our strong chapter. We have got strong support from over 3500 members here. It is centrally located and easier to reach. So this year we have chosen this venue for conducting our event.
He told Nagpur Today, “On Friday we will be conducting the conference while tomorrow we would be debating on marriage laws.”
He informed that last year we could not conduct the event as we had moved to Delhi to press for the amendments in Hindu Marriage Bill. “Our previous events were conducted in Shimla, Kolkata and Yercaud in Tamil Nadu. We are fighting for the men’s rights as the provisions of current Hindu marriage bill are extremely dangerous and essentially targeting men in Hindu marriages. It allows wives to acquire 50% of the ancestral property. Even when the Hindu man is not married, 50% is accorded to his wife although she has not contributed in the property. This is very dangerous act which affects Hindu families badly. It will push husbands to become criminals. We want the government to make amendments but it did not pay any heed. Even the proposal is awaiting to be tabled in Lok Sabha or Rajya Sabha. It would be put up by Monday or Tuesday,” he said.
Another organization Child Right Initiative for Shared Parenting (CRISP) working towards the equality of parenting rights among married men and women is participating in the movement to push the envelope further.
Kumar Jahangirdar, founder and president, CRISP said, “We did not participate in the celebrations Thursday to mark the country’s Independence Day. We, a group of men who are seeking parenting rights and joint custody of their child, are meeting in Nagpur on Friday to demand ‘freedom’ from women-centric laws.
Over 100 men from across the country would participate in today’s movement. CRISP, which has been fighting for the rights of fathers and children for more than five years, in partnership with Save Indian Family, has organised this annual event which would be conducted for fifth year in a row.
Among the issues slated for discussion during the summit are Marriage Laws Amendment Bill of 2010. “The law makers have an assumption that children always live with the mother and she alone is enough to protect the child’s welfare which is simply unscientific and against nature. It also violates the spirit of the Indian constitution,” Jahgirdar said.
The bill, he said, also allows the mother to claim paternal ancestral property and the children’s share of it, which can also lead to likely misappropriation by step-fathers and step-siblings.
“The government of the people seems to be more interested in women’s rights than innocent children’s rights, simply because children are not vote banks, though they represent more than 40 percent of our population,” he said.
Another member, a software engineer in Nagpur, said, “Men have no platform to lodge a complaint when they face harassment from their wives.”

Most of the time, he said, the wives extort money by lodging false dowry cases and even deny the right of a father to meet his children, even when he has the court’s consent.
“We urge society and its stakeholders to treat fathers with dignity and accept the scientific fact that children deserve their father’s natural love and care as much as their mother,” a statement from CRISP said.

Mumbai: A 10-year-long marriage ends in tragedy, as the 30-year-old husband is found dead on isolated grounds with injury marks over the body. Friends and relatives naturally sympathise with the young widow. That is till her actual role in the denouement comes to the fore. Cops from Ulhasnagar crime branch have arrested a 25-year-old woman who hired a hit man to get her spouse killed. To mislead the police, she filed a complaint claiming her husband had gone missing and later got a murder case lodged against unknown persons after the body was found.

Shivaji Nagar police had recovered the corpse of an unknown person with injury marks all over at Ambernath MIDC area on January 29. They immediately started checking all the missing complaints and learnt that a 30-year-old who was an electrician and a resident of Manish Nagar in Ulhasnagar was missing and a complaint had been lodged by his wife at Central police station.

"When the wife Preeti Krishnachand Mishra (25), was called she identified the body as that of her husband Krishnachand," said Machindra Chavan, senior police inspector of Ulhasnagar crime branch.

In further investigations, police started questioning Preeti who frequently changed her statements.

"When we inquired about Preeti from her neighbours they told us that some people had seen her roaming around with a 22-year-old youth Jishan Munnar Shaikh, a student of BCom third year," said Chavan.

"Shaikh was then summoned by the Crime Branch and during questioning he broke down and accepted that he and Preeti had given a supari of Rs. 1 lakh to one Akshay Suresh Gaikwad to kill Krishnachand," said Milind Bharambe, additional commissioner of police (crime), Thane.

Akshay's father Suresh Gaikwad is an ex-corporator and is now contesting municipal elections from Ulhasnagar on a Congress ticket.

Akshay, along with aides Jaysingh Mudaliyar and Damodar Hadalke met Krishnachand on January 28. They drank wine at Bittu Bar in Ulhasnagar and later went to the MIDC area, where the trio stabbed Krishnachand at an isolated place and killed him.

"Preeti had sold all her jewellery to arrange the contract killing of her husband. Preeti was in love with Jishan and was bored with her 10-year-old relationship with her husband who had started drinking," said Meghshyam Dange, police inspector of crime branch.

The miscreants were arrested yesterday and are in police custody.

नई दिल्ली।। आमतौर पर महिलाओं पर ऐसिड अटैक के मामले सामने आते हैं, लेकिन दिल्ली में अजीबोगरीब मामला सामने आया है। मामला है गोकुलपुरी एरिया का, जहां बीवी ने अपने शौहर के चेहरे पर इसलिए तेजाब डाल दिया ताकि उसे फिर कोई लड़की पसंद न कर सके या वह किसी के चक्कर में न पड़े। पुलिस सूत्रों के मुताबिक, महिला ने इस वारदात को अंजाम देने के लिए मायके वालों की भी मदद ली है।

पुलिस ने बताया कि दोनों का निकाह 2 महीने पहले हुआ है। शादी के बाद दोनों गोकुलपुरी एरिया के मुस्तफाबाद में किराए पर रह रहे थे। महिला का मायका इसी इलाके की गली नंबर 6 में है। दोनों में आए दिन शक की वजह से कहासुनी होती थी। जांच में सामने आया है कि महिला अपने शौहर नसरुद्दीन पर शक करती थी। महिला ने आरोप लगाया कि उसका किसी और लड़की से चक्कर है, जो उसने खुद देखा है।

पुलिस सूत्रों के मुताबिक ईद पर नसरुद्दीन अपनी पत्नी से यह कहकर निकला था कि वह मां से मिलने जा रहा है। देर रात जब नहीं लौटा तो उसकी पत्नी को शक हुआ। पत्नी ने मायके में सारी बात बताई। अगले दिन नसरुद्दीन लौटा तो तमतमायी पत्नी ने उसे मायके बुलाया। आरोप है कि मायके वालों की मदद से तेजाब उसके चेहरे पर उड़ेल दिया। नसरुद्दीन अस्पताल में भर्ती है। मामले की जानकारी मिलते ही पुलिस ने उसके बयान लिए और केस दर्ज महिला और उसके मायके वालों के किलाफ कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है।

In 2011, when Ashish (name changed) landed a high-paying government job, his parents were on cloud nine. Little did they know what the future had in store for him: Hikes and promotions being denied because of a 40-year-old divorcee. A married man, Ashish initially could not understand why his boss would often invite him home for dinner, call him to her cabin or ask how she looked?
“It was when she started abusing me in public did I realise that she was angry as I had refused her overtures. She made my life miserable after that. I was loaded with work. And when the time came for hikes and promotions, I was given a bad rating. My hard work turned to dust,” he lamented. Talking to the H R department or other authorities yielded no results. “People would laugh at me. Men being harassed at work places is unheard of. Many presume that a man would actually enjoy it. I had to quit my job when all options were closed,” he adds.
The Ministry of Women and Child Development, in order to implement the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013, which came into being in February, defined some finer details. These state that sexual harassment at a workplace may lead to termination of service of the accused, withholding of promotions and increments, and payment of reasonable compensation to the complainant. However, the Act only provides for aggrieved women, although the offense itself is gender neutral.
“The government is failing to recognise that sexual harassment is not a crime of passion, but a crime acted out to show dominance. In many cases, the aggressor may even be of the same sex,” explains Arnab Ganguly, a member of INSAAF (Indian Social Awareness and Activism Forum), an international NGO specialising in gender and social research, with branches in the United States and India. “The Act, however, does include a provision on “misuse” of the legislation, but it’s a very watered down version. The fine against people who misuse this Act is only `500 or 5 per cent of the aggressor’s salary, which doesn’t really act as a very serious deterrent to perpetrators,” informs Arnab.
The Save Indian Family Foundation along with INSAAF have tirelessly campaigned against the bill, so as to make it gender neutral. The fact that in India the definition of sexual assault incorporates men but the definition of sexual harassment refuses to consider men as victims seems preposterous, especially in the light of the research conducted by Synovate, a market research firm, across six Indian cities. The research states that in Bangalore alone, half of those who confessed to being sexually harassed at work had been harassed by women. Only 32 per cent said they were harassed by male colleagues.
“Although the new Act doesn’t provide for men as victims, most of the internal committees set up by companies to investigate sexual harassment are gender neutral. I usually sit in on many of these meetings as an external adviser and a lot of these cases have been filed by men as well. Companies now are being very open to issues faced by men at the workplace and take them very seriously,” says Kanti Joshi, an advocate who works with SASHA ( Support against Sexual Harassment), the consultancy arm of the NGO, IDEA (Integrated Developmental Education Academy) established to raise awareness and provide support services against sexual harassment.
Mohit Sharma (name changed), a senior architect who was working with a prominent design firm in the city, was fired unceremoniously because of allegations raised against him by a junior designer. “She wanted me to recommend her for a senior position when she clearly wasn’t ready. She flirted excessively and asked me to accompany her on coffee dates and when I didn’t comply she immediately complained to the HR, saying I was mistreating her and also alleged that I had made unwelcome advances towards her, when it was the other way around,” rues Mohit. His complaints simply echoed up the chain of command and were ignored in favour of the woman’s allegations, and after three months of fervent discussions back and forth, he was asked to leave the firm.
Atit Rajpara, president, Men’s Rights Association said that he gets more than 40 calls a month by men recalling horrifying incidents of sexual harassment at workplace.
Recalling a recent case, Rajpara said,” Shashi (name changed), an MNC employee was continuously harassed by his colleague, who wanted to marry him. When he stopped responding to her calls or messages, she landed at his doorstep and created a big scene.” Frustrated by this, Shashi filed a formal complaint with the HR. The woman was let off after a light warning but the harassment continued. She even blackmailed him that if he complained again, she would file a case against him for harassment. Despite repeated complaints, the woman continues to work with the company but Shashi was forced put in his papers. Rajpara added that in most cases men are mocked at when they talk about harassment. He said, “Sexual harassment should not be based on gender. It can happen to anyone, anytime. That’s why men never get justice.”
Women often misuse their rights and blame people at work places to get their way. In 2012, Shrishti Saxena used the same tactics. Being handed too much work by her boss, she decided to teach him a ‘lesson’. Instead of discussing the issue with him, she approached the HR and filed a sexual harassment complaint against him. Serious action was taken against the manager and Shrishti sighed a breath of relief.
Virag Dhulia, head of gender studies, Confidare India, a Bangalore-based research centre said that he gets more than three calls a month by men who have been harassed at work. “Gone are those days when offices were male dominated. These days a lot of women are handling top positions,” he said.
The centre has received calls on cases where women have tried to make advances towards their junior or colleague, asked them to stay back late at work,  threatened higher work burden and used lewd comments or abusive language. “The worst part is that companies don’t take these complaints seriously. The attitude is very insensitive towards men,” he said. Confidare runs a helpline, 9008302822, for those who are victims of sexual harassment.

'Harassed' hubbies to meet for men's rights

Come August 16, Nagpur will be teeming with activists supporting the rights of disgruntled men from across the country. The three-day conference will tackle and debate the government’s draft bill, which contains an amendment in the Marriage Laws Bill.

The national meet, organised by the Nagpur chapter of the Save Indian Family Foundation, will be held at Pench Resorts and is the fifth such national meet after successes in Goa, Shimla, Yercaud and Kolkata in previous years.

The activists will, in particular, be discussing the draft bill on the Irretrievable Breakdown of Marriage Law, which states that if a wife walks out a marriage within six months, she will be entitled to monthly spousal support. Apart from this, she will also be rewarded a portion of the any property the husband may have acquired before marriage, as well as part of his inheritable property, if any.

This bill has sent a panic wave among many young, high-earning men, who have termed the bill as extremely anti-male and anti-marriage.

The conference will also discuss the men’s rights movement and the steps necessary to be taken to increase awareness in this regard, especially to highlight the increasing suicide rate among men, and in particular, among married men.

NEW DELHI: The Union Cabinet is likely to discuss an amendment to the marriage laws which, in the event of a divorce, would give the wife an equal share of not only the property acquired by the husband during or before the marriage but also his inherited or inheritable property.

The proposed amendment, that is likely to be controversial, aims to redefine the phrase 'residential property' to include not just the residential house but also other properties acquired by the husband.
In case other members of the family (apart from the husband) also have rights in the inherited property and it is impractical to divide it, the amendment proposes to compensate the wife with an equivalent amount of money in place of her share.
The proposed change aims to give the wife an equal share in the property regardless of whether it was acquired before or after marriage and regardless of whether it is only in the husband's name or held jointly.
The changes in the Marriage Laws (Amendment) Bill, being brought under pressure from civil society as well as a section of MPs, is expected to come up in the cabinet meeting on Wednesday.
The government had earlier introduced the amendment bill in order to alter the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, and the Special Marriage Act, 1954, to introduce the option of divorce on grounds of "irretrievable breakdown of marriage".

The government had brought in a Bill to grant the wife the right to a share in the movable and immovable residential properties. But this was found wanting by some civil society groups who demanded that the wife should have a right not just in residential property but also all immovable properties of the husband.
Responding to the criticism, the government has now proposed to make another couple of amendments to provide a share to divorcing women in not just acquired properties but also inherited property and bringing in immovable assets beyond the residential house.
The government has decided to create a special provision in case of inherited properties in light of a Supreme Court order that one co-owner of joint family property does not have the right to sell his undivided share. Considering the Supreme Court orders, the government contended that giving over half the share of the husband in inherited property could lock the divorcing wife in to future litigation. Therefore, the amendment provides for the court to decide if she should get money in lieu of her share in such cases.

Citing that the provisions of the Marriage Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2010, are making marriage the ‘property transfer bureau’, members of the Men’s Rights Association (MRA), Pune, which functions as an all-India body, has given a clarion call against the Act.

They have now resolved to not vote for the members of Parliament (MPs) supporting the Bill in the country’s top legislative body for the next general election. The members held a meeting in the city on Thursday.

The association has called it an anti-men, anti-husband and anti-marriage Bill, which is likely to be debated in the ongoing monsoon session of Parliament.

As part of their campaign against the Bill, the activists have till date met over 25 MPs belonging to various parties to make them aware about the issue.

Talking to Pune Mirror, Atit Rajpara, founder president of MRA-Pune, said, “Despite requests from the men’s groups across the country, the government failed to pay heed.

Not even a single suggestion given by us have been considered. We have done written several times to the MPs, but nothing has happened.”

'Draconian' amendment in Hindu Marriage Act gives wives final say in divorce cases; men's rights groups not amused 

Pune: Upset over the latest amendments in the Hindu Marriage Act which virtually give wives a final say in divorce 

 

cases, Men’s Rights Association (MRA) on Saturday staged a protest against the legislation which they term as 'draconian'.

 

"The bill has a provision giving power to the courts to not grant a divorce unless the wife was paid adequate amount of 

 

money in the name of financial security of the woman. Such powers may result in harassment of men," MRA president Atit Rajpara said.

 

He also said the bill also provides special powers to wives to oppose the divorce if she was unhappy with the money she received from the husband under section IPC 498 (A), domestic violence act and several other maintenance laws.

 

According to the MRA, such clauses are outright anti-male and gender-biased and therefore men’s rights activists and organisations are opposing them. Rajpara said the mens’ rights organisations want the bill to be gender-neutral.

A 30 year old man hanged himself at his house today morning; his family blamed his wife and her family members for allegedly provoking him for committing suicide on the issue of five lac rupees.

Ashok Yadav, resident of Yadav Colony, was seen hanging in his room today morning at 7.30 am by his mother who immediately informed other family members. The victim was rushed to the hospital but he was declared dead by the doctors.

Yogesh Yadav, brother of the deceased, has lodged a complaint against Ashok’s in-laws and his wife  for pressurizing Ashok for Rs. 5 Lac failing which, they would complain against him under Mahila Pratarna, said police.

Yogesh informed that, “My brother got married last year. On the very next day, his wife went back to her house at Nathdwara and never came back. Her family members often threatened Ashok for five lac rupees in cash for breaking the marriage.”

Yogesh also informed that the girl was already married to somebody else before getting married to his brother Ashok.

On the other hand, Ashok’s in-laws said that Ashok was not physically fit and they wanted their daughter to divorce him. “There was no issue of cash”, informed Navratam Yadav, Father-in-law of the deceased.

Police has registered the case and started investigating it.

गुड़गांव में एक बीबीए स्टूडेंट ने पंखे से लटक कर अपनी जान दे दी. यह लड़का फरीदाबाद के तिगांव का रहने वाला था. दिनेश पालीवाल का शव सड़ी-गली हालत में गुड़गांव के सेक्टर 40 इलाके में ग्रीनवुड सिटी के G-105 नम्बर मकान में मिला.

दिनेश गुड़गांव में करीब 15 दिन पहले ही आया था और मकान का पहला फ्लोर किराए पर लिया था. आस-पड़ोस के लोगों को जब इस फ्लोर से बदबू आने लगी तो लोगों ने पुलिस को सूचना दी. पुलिस ने मकान मालिक से पूछ कर दिनेश के परिजनों को फोन किया जिनके आने के बाद कमरे का दरवाजा तोड़ा गया. जब कमरा खोला गया तो कमरे में पंखे से दिनेश का शव सड़ी-गली हालत में लटका हुआ पड़ा था. शव की पहचान दिनेश के चाचा ने की. गुडगांव पुलिस के मुताबिक दिनेश ने सुसाइड नोट में दिनेश ने अपनी खुदकुशी के लिए एक लड़की (आशा यादव) और तीन कॉलेज के दोस्तों को जिम्मेदार ठहराया है.

सेक्टर 40 के एसएचओ जय प्रकाश ने बताया, ‘हमें सूचना मिली थी की ग्रीनवुड सिटी केक फ्लैट से बदबू आ रही है जिसके बाद हमने मौके पर जाकर फ्लैट के मालिक को बुलाया जिस से जानकारी मिली की दिनेश नाम का युवक इसमें किराए पर रहता है. हमने दिनेश के परिवार वालों को बुलाया और कमरे को खोल गया तो पंखे से लाश लटकी हुई थी मौके से एक सुसाइड नोट भी बरामद हुआ है जिसमे दिनेश ने अपनी मौत के लिए एक लड़की और अपने तीन दोस्तों को जिम्मेदार ठहराया है. हम मामला दर्ज कर जांच कर रहे हैं.’ दिनेश ने सुसाइड नोट में लिखा है कि लड़कियों से प्यार मत करना.

दिनेश पीलवाल की उम्र करीब 24 साल थी और घरवालों ने दिनेश की शादी करीब एक साल पहले कर दी थी. पुलिस के मुताबिक दिनेश 15 दिन पहले अपने परिजनों से ये कहकर गुड़गांव आ गया था कि उसकी गुड़गांव में नौकरी लग गई है.

गुड़गांव पुलिस ने इस मामले में चार लोगों के खिलाफ आईपीसी की धारा 306/34 के तहत आत्महत्या के लिए उकसाने का मामला दर्ज कर किया है. दिनेश के परिजनों के मुताबिक दिनेश आशा के प्यार किया करता था. दिनेश ने फरीदाबाद में मानव रचना इंस्टीट्यूट से बीबीए की पढ़ाई की थी.

गुड़गांव पुलिस के मुताबिक दिनेश का शव करीब तीन दिन पुराना है. शव को पोस्टमॉर्टम के लिए सिविल अस्पताल भिजवा दिया गया है जहां पर गुरुवार को पोस्टमॉर्टम किया जाएगा. दिनेश पिछले तीन दिनों से अपने परिजनों का फोन नहीं उठा रहा था. पुलिस ने अभी इस मामले में किसी की गिरफ्तारी नहीं की है.
