Husband commits Suicide, brother blames Wife and in-laws

A 30 year old man hanged himself at his house today morning; his family blamed his wife and her family members for allegedly provoking him for committing suicide on the issue of five lac rupees.

Ashok Yadav, resident of Yadav Colony, was seen hanging in his room today morning at 7.30 am by his mother who immediately informed other family members. The victim was rushed to the hospital but he was declared dead by the doctors.

Yogesh Yadav, brother of the deceased, has lodged a complaint against Ashok’s in-laws and his wife  for pressurizing Ashok for Rs. 5 Lac failing which, they would complain against him under Mahila Pratarna, said police.

Yogesh informed that, “My brother got married last year. On the very next day, his wife went back to her house at Nathdwara and never came back. Her family members often threatened Ashok for five lac rupees in cash for breaking the marriage.”

Yogesh also informed that the girl was already married to somebody else before getting married to his brother Ashok.

On the other hand, Ashok’s in-laws said that Ashok was not physically fit and they wanted their daughter to divorce him. “There was no issue of cash”, informed Navratam Yadav, Father-in-law of the deceased.

Police has registered the case and started investigating it.
