INDORE: Younger son of former chairman of Indore Development Authority
(IDA) and city Congress unit president Kripashankar Shukla allegedly
attempted suicide by consuming poisonous substance at his house in Jinsi
area here on Thursday evening. Amit Shukla, 30, consumed poisonous
substance at his house in the evening and was later rushed to the CHL
Apolo Hospital. His condition is stated to be out of danger, Mallaharganj police station in charge Pawan Singhal said. What prompted him to attempt suicide is still not known. Investigations are on.
